The amount of non-conforming seafood was 107 tons, accounting for 0.019% of the total import volume.


In terms of fish species by country, 72 tons of frozen octopus from Mauritania, 24 tons of frozen black puffer from China, 6.8 tons of frozen white legged shrimp meat from Vietnam, 2.8 tons of frozen snakehead fish from Vietnam, frozen sea urchin roe(sashimi) from Peru/Philippines, dried mackerel from Sri Lanka/ Small amounts were found in dried penhead sharks, frozen bluefin sharks from Taiwan, and frozen bluefin tuna fillets from Spain.

By country, fish products from 8 countries were treated as nonconforming, with two cases each in Vietnam and Sri Lanka, and one case each in Taiwan/Mauritania/Peru/China/Spain/Philippines.
